Question: What is there to do romantically in Waterloo?

Not only was there recent gun violence, The police busted a local prostitution ring. I hope this page helps some find alternatives to those activities. One of the most popular arguments in the “Taking back Waterloo” page is blaming bad parents. Now please my dear readers, have compassion to the idea that sometimes… parents need parent time. What are the local outlets for Single parents seeking a mate in Waterloo? Others say teens need to find some better and more positive outlets in the area. I hope to treat this subject sensitive. If you wish to express a hostile public disdain, I will provide a wordpress link off of Facebook for you to do so with me away from this group so the Taking Back Waterloo may focus on more pressing matters. But for struggling parents, this issue might be a pressing matter for them.
Please note within the mission statement of this page it includes the line. “Help make caring about your community cool again and share!” I am trying to help make it cool!
please note that some of these are local rumors that I have not yet to personally checked out. Most of these are suggestions from the Taking Back Iowa Facebook group.
Also would like to exclude dining and focus on alcohol in order to find things that Waterloo has that most other cities don’t. Also not to sound like a cheap date, I do want to consider a near average $25 budget to assist those in struggling incomes. Nature sites are welcome for suggestions but things like flying a kite together can be done at many places. What does Waterloo and the Cedar Valley have? That a couple would enjoy a romantic time enjoying?
For those that could possibly use this as a dating help. Please be safe out there. Black Hawk county is the STD capitol in Iowa. Maybe some people been looking for love in all the wrong places.

There used to be more romantic restaurants than there are now, we had the Colony Club, the Purple Parrot
Rent cabins at blackhawk and hickory hills.have done this both places and very nice if your into the outdoors.very nice all seasons cabin at hickory hills.
You can do a picnic when the sun is setting at the top of the new structure they put behind the library
